Parent Survey Results 2011
The annual Casterbridge Parent Survey was carried out in July to enable us to understand from our parents what we are doing well and what we can improve upon.
At Eton Manor Day Nursery and Preschool 98% of parents were satisfied with the overall experience at the nursery and when asked how likely parents were to recommend us we scored 8.6 out of 10. Highlights od the findings are that parents love the environment (89% agree), the quality of resources is good (94% agree) and the children are well stimulated (83% agree). Parents said they would like more verbal feedback and our administration could be worked on, we are committed to improving these areas.
Quotes from the Parent Survey:
‘The nursery is very clean with extremely caring and competent staff. There is a large garden and the children are able to participate in a large number of activities including messy play. My son loves going to nursery and I feel totally reassured that he is receiving the best care and is also enjoying himself.’
‘All the staff are very friendly and make a fuss of my child - we have got to know quite a few of the staff over the months and they always have time to stop and chat to see how things are going.’
‘I have sent my two children there and they have thrived.’
‘I have had two children go through Eton Manor since 2004, both since they were a few months old until they left to go to primary school. Both of them loved their time there. They were well cared for, learnt to write, enjoy stimulating activities including yoga, drama, French, messy play and art.’
‘Both of my children attended Eton Manor and we have been very pleased with the overall experience. We feel that the staff genuinely care about the children and there are obvious signs that they stimulate them as much as possible. The food is always well received by my 2 year old and I like the fact that they take full advantage when the weather is good in taking them outside for fresh air and play.’
