At Eton Manor Day Nursery and Preschool we offer the following extracurricular activities.

Drama, Creative, Movement and Music – to develop physical co-ordination and muscle control, which allows the children to express themselves, develop imaginative thinking and social awareness.  This activity takes place on Thursday morning.

Early French – the children will work on a range of subjects to develop their understanding and speaking of French, which develops their knowledge and understanding of the world.  This is available to children over 3 years.

Yoga – to develop the physical co-ordination and muscle control. This is available to children aged over 3 years.

Any extracurricular activities subsidised by the parent is not compulsory for the children.  As Eton Manor subsidises the cost for Early French, Yoga and Drama and Creative Movement all children who wish to join in are encouraged to do so.

We also take regular opportunities to visit places within our local community (with the signed permission of parents) and occasionally may organise an outing further afield.

The preschool benefits from regular visits from various outside agencies such as the emergency services and parents who come in to talk about their job role or just to play with the children.

We have a formal graduation ceremony for Preschool children when your child leaves to attend school to celebrate your child’s achievements at nursery.

We celebrate events such as Easter, Christmas, Chinese New Year, Ramadan and various others.  Any parents who can spare the time are invited to come in and take part, to organise activities or to come in and give a talk to the children about subjects that they know well.
