About Us

Eton Manor Day Nursery and Preschool is housed in a purpose built building and is registered by Ofsted for the care and education of 102 children from the age of 3 months to 5 years.  The nursery is also registered for 16 school age children in our Out of School Club.  In May 2009 we received an overall 'Good' rating on our inspection by Ofsted. At Eton Manor Day Nursery and Preschool we follow, and believe in, the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum to support all aspects of learning and development for young children.  This offers children the very best start and develops confidence, knowledge and understanding to support their transition to infant school.  We believe that children learn through play and a wide range of experiences therefore we create a fun and stimulating environment for all our children.

Our nursery and preschool is set in beautiful, spacious surroundings which allows our children to benefit from a fantastic outdoor environment.  The four gardens are designed to meet all of the children’s needs, meaning that all children can play outdoors with age appropriate equipment.  The gardens are also designed not only to support the children's physical development but also to promote the children’s learning in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage.  This means providing the children with a wide range of activities to promote children’s natural desire to explore and investigate.

 
We are a two minute walk to Buckhurst Hill tube station (on the Central line) and other public transport is accessible close by.  The nursery benefits from a large car park which parents are able to utilise during opening hours.
 
The nursery is open from 7.30am until 6.30pm, 52 weeks of the year (closed for Bank Holidays) and we are a fully inclusive nursery meaning all wipes, nappies, milks, food and extracurricular activities are included in the fees.
